Oh my gosh!!! Could I have anymore trouble with this house. Let me take you back to the begining.
Two years ago, when this house was being built, I knew that there were going to be some some things I was going to have to pick out and as I told you before I am always prepared.
I made sure that everything was picked out and everything was going to be great!!!! When it came time to have the bathroom tile ordered (which I had already picked out) the kids bathroom tile was discontinued. Imagine that!!!! So, I traveled 40 minutes to go and pick out new tile for my lovely children and I understood that it had been two years since I picked out the tile and things happen. I had no problem with it except it took me 1 hour to find the exact tile I wanted for the children's bathroom. Well, time went by and by and by and finally it was time for our kitchen tile to be picked up and installed!!! Yeah!!!! I was so excited this was the biggest purchase for our house. My parents went to pick up the tile for us and as they watched the guy load the tile into their truck, the fork lift did not grab the tile as well as it should have and "crash" there went my beautiful tile. Most of the pieces were broken and it set us back a whole week. Finally we were able to get the tile in and all that was left was the countertop and the carpet, by the way the carpet is from the same place the tile came from. Anyway, when it was time to order the carpet, guess what, the carpet was discontinued and I had to run up again another 40 minutes up and back to find new carpet. Luckily when I got there, the wonderful girl that has waited on me through this whole project showed me a piece of carpet that was almost identical to the carpet that was now discontinued. I said "That's it," and it was Ordered. Yeah!!!! Well, after a couple weeks we started wondering where the carpet was, so we started calling and inquiring to where the carpet may be. Mary stated that the truck would be there on a Tuesday, well Tuesday came and went and came and went. My husband was getting a little up set wondering if they were giving us the run around since they did not contact us on the tile that was discontinued, nor the carpet that was discontinued, along with our tile dropping and shattering to a million pieces. He decided to call and yell (which he is very good at) and the poor girl, Mary, took the blunt of all his anger. Let's just say yesterday I called to see if the carpet was in and Mary stated that it was on it's way. I was happy to be able to report this to Mark. She also told me that the truck that was suppose to be there the previous two weeks with our carpet was on it's way but it broke down. Yeah, how about that, BROKE DOWN!! She assured me that the carpet would be cut and ready for Mark and Vinnie to pick up this morning. I have not had any bad reports as of yet. I hope that once the carpet is installed that the house comes together very nicely. I love everything so far even my granit countertop. It is absolutely beautiful!!!!!

Work, Work, Work
5 days a week and 8 hours a day. The paperwork stacks up and there are not enough hours in a day to get all the work done that needs to be done. Of course, we take our breaks and we sit and chit chat but that doesn't stop the mail or the other people who DO work. Don't get me wrong, we work and work, but the work we do never ends. We always have more work to do. Files upon files need worked on. I guess that is why it is called work. I love where I work and I like working. It takes my mind off all the other the other things I have to do and it kinda makes me also focus on what needs to be done once I leave work. It keeps me scheduled. I am always in a routine.
Also I really think there should be two Saturdays in a week. Think about it, if there were two Saturdays, everyone could get alot more personal work done and I would have time to blog more at home. Gee, what an idea. That would be 8 days a week instead of 7. On the first Saturday, I would probably sit around till about 11:00 a.m. then I would start working and it would be the same for the second Saturday - what a life that would be.

New Home project
This is the first time I have blogged so here I go!!!!
I have two children, a husband, a dog and we are building our dream house. Yeah right, it has been far from a dream! We have had everything go wrong with this building project. I like to be on top of everything. I like to have a schedule. I like to be ready when the job comes so I am not loosing my mind. I like everything to be in order and if it is not, I get a little CRAZY!!!!
Anyway, I had all the colors for the walls, picked out the flooring, appliances, lighting, carpeting, etc. out months before this the house even needed it. Well, the building of the house was a lot longer than expected but the walls are beautiful, the appliances are gorgeous, the flooring wonderful and just what I wanted. Now weeks before we are to move in the carpet is the only thing we are waiting on. I have gone round and round with these carpet people and it has almost been a month. My husband, Mark, has yelled at them and tried to get things moving but I just think he ticked them off more and they are making us wait. But that is my opinion. So we are at a waiting period and I am at the point of no return!!!!!
